Flexibility and Resilience Training

Peak Performance: Harnessing the Power of Resilience and Flexibility

Building resilience and flexibility is all about understanding and managing the things that cause us to feel stressed and overwhelmed. In this highly interactive and engaging course, participants will be introduced to the Dare to Care™ Framework which guides them through the fundamentals of a proven four step Resilience Model designed to provide them with a basic understanding of the building blocks of resilience and flexibility. This course guides participants through numerous exercises that maximize their experiential learning and take-home value. This course will also illuminate the essential and foundational tools that enable participants to productively embrace, change, uncertainty and challenging situations. Course participants will also be equipped with practical strategies they can use on a daily basis to better understand their own emotional state in order to recover and bounce back from adversity while feeling stronger and more capable than before.

This training will help participants:

Dare to Care: Humanizing Diversity and Inclusion

Diversity in work-spaces in America today ought to reflect the multicultural and multi-faceted characteristics of the nation itself. Any organization striving for greater levels of success understands that it is no longer enough to just claim to have the ‘diversity numbers’, if it doesn’t also mean you have a genuine environment of inclusion. One in which everyone within the organization feels seen, heard, and valued. Humanizing diversity and inclusion is at the heart of what every organization should be doing if they are serious about bringing about positive and lasting change within their workforce. D&I is not a nice-to-have, it’s a business imperative.

Sylvia Baffour firmly believes that empathy really undergirds everything that diversity and inclusion is based on. In Dare to Care: Humanizing Diversity and Inclusion, she therefore takes on a different approach to focus the D&I learning around foundational aspects of emotional intelligence such as self-awareness and empathy.
